Joan Carol Andersen was born May 29, 1930 in
Detroit, and after living in Howell and in Northville both always in Michigan, moved to
Hilton Head along the coast of South Carolina, where she died on August 13 of
2006.
She studied in Visitation High School in Detroit, and graduated from the University of Michigan and has been an important real estate agent.
Married to James Craig Andersen has had six children and she was a passionate bridge player.
