Virgil  ANDERSON

 Virgil V. Anderson è nato il 15 agosto del 1924 a Thayer una cittadina del Missouri sul confine con l'Arkansas, e ha studiato la High School Central di Springfield per poi laurearsi in economia alla Drury University ed in giurisprudenza alla Missouri School of Law di Columbia.

 Entrato nella State Hall è poi passato nel dipartimento legale dell'assicurazione statale.

 Assieme al padre fondarono un'impresa di produzione e distribuzione di attrezzature per camion di cui fece presto parte anche la futura moglie Leslie Gritzmaker.

 Uomo di multiformi interessi, in gioventù si misurò in molti lavori da annunciatore radiofonico, a direttore di una sezione di Boy Scout, a Vigile forestale.

 Aveva due grande passioni il teatro ed il bridge. In quest'ultimo ha conquistato un campionato nazionale come giocatore e si è distinto come amministratore fini a diventare presidente di lega.

É scomparso il 19 giugno del 2017 a Springfield.

Virgil V. Anderson was born on August 15, 1924 in Thayer, a Missouri town on the Arkansas border, and studied Springfield's  Central High School  and graduated in economics at Drury University and in law at the Missouri School of Law of Columbia.

Entering the State Hall then went to the state insurance law department.

Together with his father, he founded a truck manufacturing and distribution company, then added later his wife, Leslie Gritzmaker.

A man of multi-faceted interests, in youth he measured himself in many radio announcements, as director of a section of Boy Scout, a Vigil forest.

She had two great passion, the theatre and the bridge.

In the latter he has won a national championship as a player and has distinguished himself as an administrator with many charge among which chairman of the league.

He disappeared on June 19, 2017.
