Marc  ANDREESEN

 Marc Andreesen è nato a Cedar Falls il 9 luglio del 1971 ed è stato il creatore di Mosaic, uno dei primi browser di grande successo che poi, attraverso una serie di passaggi societari, sarebbe diventato Internet Explorer.

 Cofondatore di Netscape Communications Corporation è stato amministratore delegato di Opsware la ex Loudcloud, poi acquisita dalla HP.

 Laureatosi all'università dell'Illinois di Urbana-Champaign in scienze dei computer, lavorò come stagista per la IBM di Austin e per National Center for Supercomputing Applications.

 Sposato con Laura Arrilaga, figlia del miliardario immobiliarista fondatore della Silicon Valley e presidente di un noto fondo di investimento, è anche un appassionato di bridge.

  Marc Andreesen was born in Cedar Falls on 9 July 1971 and was the creator of Mosaic, one of the first highly successful browsers that later became Internet Explorer through a series of company steps.

Cofounder of Netscape Communications Corporation he was formerly the former Opsware CEO born from Loudcloud, later acquired by HP.

He graduated from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign in computer sciences, worked as an intern for Austin's IBM and for the National Centre for Supercomputing Applications.

Married to Laura Arrilaga, daughter of the billionaire real estate founder of Silicon Valley, and president of a well-known investment fund, he is also a bridge enthusiast.
