Karl Gunnar Magnus Anulf nacque il 2 settembre del 1923 a Stoccolma e fu uno dei migliori giocatori svedesi dell'immediato dopoguerra.
Sposato due volte, prima con Signe Elisabeth Henriksson (18 novembre 1922 - 2012) e poi con la giocatrice Inger Margareta Edwards (6 gennaio 1920 - 3 ottobre 2007) che capitanò due volte la squadra femminile svedese agli Europei del 1970 e 1972 conquistando due bronzi, ebbe due figli.
Vinse i Campionati Europei del 1952 e arrivò secondo in quelli mondiali del 1953.
Scomparve prematuramente il 17 gennaio del 1978.
Karl Gunnar Magnus Anulf was born on September 2, 1923 in
Stockholm and was one of the best Swedish players of the immediate post-war
period.
Married twice, first with Signe Elisabeth Henriksson (18 November 1922 - 2012), then with the bridge player Inger Margareta Edwards (6 January 1920 - 3 October 2007) who twice captained the Swedish women's team at the European Championships in 1970 and 1972 winning two bronzes, he had two sons.
He won the 1952 European Championships and finished second in the 1953 World Championships.
He disappeared prematurely on January 17, 1978.
