Uldis Bethers è nato il 23 gennaio del 1965 a Dobele ed oggi vive a Riga con la moglie Parsla che gli ha dato due figli maschi entrambi bridgisti.
Dopo aver frequentato il ginnasio di Dobele si è laureato in fisica presso l'Università della Lettonia dove insegna ed è Consigliere di Amministrazione del Centro di Ricerca per l'analisi di processo.
Janis Bethers è nato il 28 marzo del 1985 a Riga ed oggi vive a Marupe assieme alla moglie Anita.
Dopo aver frequentato nella città natale la scuola secondaria ed il ginnasio, si è laureato in economia all'Università di Stoccolma.
Ha lavorato in diverse società lettoni ed oggi è a capo dell'ufficio affari della Virsi.
Figlio d'arte assieme al fratello Peteris è il bridgista più titolato della famiglia.
Nel 2006 ha vinto l'argento ai Campionati Mondiali per Squadre giovanili giocando in coppia con il fratello Peteris, mentre, nel 2015 ha vinto il bronzo nei Campionati Europei per Piccole Federazioni giocando in coppia con il padre.
Nel 2010 ha vinto l'argento nell'Europeo Juniores e nel 2019 ha vinto il bronzo ai Mondiali BAM Open Teams.
Peteris Bethers è nato l'11 luglio del 1988 a Marupe dove tuttora vive con la moglie Liga e con due figli.
Dopo aver frequentato lo stesso ginnasio del fratello maggiore si è laureato presso l'Università della Lettonia.

He has worked in several Latvian companies and today is head of the Virsi business office.
Sons of art together with his brother Peteris is the most successful bridge player in the family.
In 2006 he won silver at the World Championships for Youth Teams playing with his brother Peteris, while, in 2015 he won bronze in the European Championships for Small Federations playing with his father.
In 2010 he won silver in the European Juniors Pairs and in 2019 he won bronze at the BAM Open Teams World Championships.
Peteris Bethers was born on 11 July 1988 in Marupe where he still lives with his wife Liga and two children.
After attending the same high school as his older brother, he graduated from the University of Latvia.
