Walter  BINGHAM

 

 Walter Bingham è nato il 5 gennaio 1924  come Wolfgang Billig a Karlsruhe nel Baden-Württemmberg ed è stato un giornalista, un attore e un imprenditore.

 Sfuggito all'olocausto britannico-israeliano in quanto era andato a studiare all'estero, è un decorato della seconda guerra mondiale per aver  preso parte allo sbarco in Normandia come autista di ambulanze e che detiene il record sia come più vecchio conduttore di radio-talk show che come più vecchio giornalista di Israele.

 Decorato con la Legione d'Onore francese per il suo valore in battaglia, ha partecipato come uno dei maghi in un paio di film di Potter.

 Nel 2018 si è lanciato con il paracadute diventando anche il più vecchio paracadutista di ogni tempo.

All'età di 95 anni faceva ancora il suo lavoro di giornalista, appassionato bridgista amatoriale ha recentemente festeggiato il suo 102º compleanno.

  Walter Bingham was born in 1924 as Wolfgang Billig in Karlsruhe in Baden-Württemmberg and was a journalist, actor and entrepreneur.

Escaped from the British-Israeli holocaust as he went to study abroad, it is a World War II decoration for taking part in the Normandy landings as an ambulance driver and holding the record as both an older radio-talk show that as Israel's oldest journalist.

Decorated with the French Legion of Honour for its value in battle, he participated as one of the magicians in a couple of Potter films.

In 2018 he launched with a parachute becoming also the oldest parachutist of all time.

An airplane pilot, at age 95 he continues to do his job as a journalist and was also a bridge lover.

At the age of 95, still working as a journalist, the amateur bridge player recently celebrated his 102nd birthday.
