George  BLACK

George Hubert Joseph Black nacque nel 1925, studiò al liceo Camðes per poi laurearsi in Ingegneria Chimica nel 1949.

 Personaggio storico del Bridge portoghese, già nel 1947, 14 anni prima della fondazione della Federazione, organizzò il primo incontro a Squadre della storia portoghese.

 Sposato con Maria Emilia, anche lei buona giocatrice che si esibiva spesso in coppia con il marito, ha conquistato diversi titoli portoghesi.

 Capitano delle Squadre Giovanili conquistò la medaglia d'argento a Praga nel 1968 nei Campionati Europei.
