Jay B. Borker è nato nel 1956 a Cos Cob nel Connecticut ed oggi vive nella vicina Greenwich.
Jay, che si è laureato all'Università di Chicago, ed è stato un fiduciario della Harris Trust Co. prima di essere uno dei partner fondatori della Greenwich Capital Markets Inc. uno dei maggiori fondi di investimento degli States oggi una filiale della Royal Bank of Scotland.
Appassionato di bridge è un giocatore di discreto livello che ha vinto alcune competizioni regionali ed il Kaplan Blue Ribbon Pairs del 2010.

A private investor, was a founding partner of Greenwich Capital Markets Inc., one of the most successful fixed income trading and money management organizations in the world and, now, a subsidiary of Royal Bank of Scotland.
Over his career at Greenwich Capital Markets, Mr. Borker managed the
firm's U.S. and international bond arbitrage units, the most profitable
activities of the firm.
Passionate about Bridge is a fairly good player who has won several regional competitions and in 2010 the Kaplan Blue Ribbon Pairs.
