Geoffrey Breskal (1926-2018) was a club owner and player of national importance.
Married to Margaret, he had two daughters and lived in Barnet, in the northern hinterland of the capital, until his departure.
Owner of a chain of betting shops, after having sold them, he managed the well-known "The Wood" in London with David Edwin for over twenty years.
Together with the main British competitions, he has twice won the Gold Cup, Crockford's and Spring Foursomes.
