Philippe  BUSQUIN

 

 Philippe Busquin è nato a Feluy il 6 gennaio del 1941, fisico, è stato un Membro del Parlamento Europeo dal 2004 al 2009 in rappresentanza della comunità francofona belga.

 Esponente del Partito Socialista ha fatto del Comitato Europeo per l'Industria la Ricerca e l'Energia ed è stato Presidente del Option Assessment Panel per la Scienza e la Tecnologia.

 Egli è stato anche un sostituto per la Commissione per l'Ambiente, la Sanità Pubblica e la Sicurezza Alimentare e membro della delegazione alla Commissione di Cooperazione Parlamentare UE-Russia.

 La sua tendenza a balbettare è stato oggetto di video satirici su YouTube che hanno collezionato, alcune centinaia di migliaia di visite.

 Sposato, nella sale da bridge di mezza Europa è conosciuto da tutti semplicemente come Philippe.

  Philippe Busquin was born in Feluy on 1941, 6 January. He was a Member of the European Parliament from 2004 to 2009 for the French Community of Belgium with the Parti Socialiste, part of the Socialist Group and sat on the European Parliament's Committee on Industry, Research and Energy.

 Busquin was the chairman of the Science and Technology Options Assessment Panel.

 He also was a substitute for the Committee on the Environment, Public Health and Food Safety and a member of the Delegation to the EU-Russia Parliamentary Cooperation Committee. His tendency to stutter has been the subject of satirical videos on YouTube, some garnering hundreds of thousands of hits.

From 1999 to 2004, he was Member of the European Commission with responsibility for research.

Married, in the halls bridge over Europe is known by all as just plain Philippe.
