Giuseppe CIRIELLO

 

 Giuseppe Ciriello è nato a Bari il 20 gennaio del 1927 ma ha vissuto gli ultimi 60 anni della sua vita ad Alessandria dove è stato per 40 anni presidente della locale associazione che, in gran parte per merito suo, è divenuta una delle più rinomate in Italia.

 Il "Generale" è stato anche un ottimo giocatore che ha colto diversi piazzamenti in importanti tornei sia nazionali che internazionali e che ha colto il suo miglior risultato con la vittoria del Campionato a Squadre Open nel 1982.

 Peppino è scomparso il 20 marzo del 2020.

  Giuseppe Ciriello was born in Bari on January 20, 1927 but lived the last 60 years of his life in Alessandria where he was president of the local association for 40 years which, largely thanks to him, has become one of the most renowned in Italy.

The "General" was also an excellent player who took several placements in important national and international tournaments and who took his best result with the victory of the Italian Open Team Championship in 1982.

Peppino passed away on March 20, 2020.
