John "Jack" Coleman nacque in St. Louis nel 1934 ed è stato un investitore immobiliare ed un ACBL Grand Life Master in Bridge.
Jack ha vinto tre volte il North American Swiss Teams e ha guadagnato altri piazzamenti di prestigio nei NABC.
In 1985 fu nominato giocatore dell'anno nel contesto del mini-McKenney ai NABC.
Ha vissuto con la sua famiglia a St. Louis prima di trasferirsi a San Francisco nel 1970.
Oltre che amante del bridge era un gran tifoso dei Cardinal di St. Louis.

In 1985 he was the NABC Master of the Year in the Mini-McKenney contest.
He was close to his St. Louis based family but moved in San Francisco in 1970.
Beside the Bridge he loved Cardinal baseball.
Jack dead October 4, 2005 in San Francisco.
