Born in Naples in 1932, Marisa D'Andrea Baffi was one of only four Italian women bridge players to have won the title of World Women Grand Master (the other three are the sister Lucia D'Andrea Capodanno, Anna Valenti and Marisa Bianchi). She also has been one of the best women players in the world for the past 70's and 80's.
Marisa won the Women Teams Olympiad of Monte Carlo in 1976 and finished second in to subsequent of Valkenburg, she won also a silver medal (1979) and a bronze medal (1987) in the Venice Cup.
On the continent, she has won in the European Women Teams Championships: 2 medals gold (1974 and 1977), three medals silver (1975, 1979, 1987) and two bronzes (1981, 1985) and in the EC Championship: 3 silver medals and 2 bronze medals in Women Teams and a silver medal in the Mixed Pairs.
At the national level has achieved many titles among which the 9 times the Women Teams and 3 times the Mixed Teams.
She disappear in her Pozzuoli on April 28, 2018.
