Jacques è nato a Parigi il 121 febbraio del 1933 ed ha dedicato la sua vita allo sport passandone la prima parte nella Federazione Francese del Tennis e la seconda in quella del Bridge.
Dopo aver studiato presso la École des hautes études di Parigi è diventato arbitro di tennis ed ha diretto i tornei mondiali più importanti.
Amico dei più grandi tennisti dello scorso secolo, nel 1975 entrava a far parte dell'organico della FFT dove rimaneva fino al 1989.
Innamorato del bridge fin dalla giovane età, è stato membro del Comitato Esecutivo della FFB per oltre 15 anni ed ha giocato con alcuni dei migliori giocatori francesi guadagnandosi la categoria Prima Picche Onoraria.
È scomparso ad Antibes il 14 luglio del 2017.

After studying at the Ecole des Hautes Etudes in Paris became referee at Roland Garros and has directed all the major tournaments worldwide.
Friend of the greatest tennis players of the last century, in 1975, he was part of the FFT plan where he stayed until 1989.
Bridge of love from a young age, he was a member of the Executive Committee of the FFB for over 15 years and has played with some of the best French players earning the First Honorary Spades.
He disappeared in Antibes the 2017, July 14.
