Per Henrik Drangsholt è nato nel 1921 a Kristiansand nell'estremo sud della Norvegia e gioca a bridge da quando aveva 10 anni e tutti nella sua famiglia erano appassionati del gioco.
Per è stato Campione Norvegese a Squadre nel 1983.
Il figlio Jan Erik ha calcato le orme paterne ed è buon bridgista che a volte gioca in coppia con il padre che ancor oggi frequenta regolarmente i Tornei serali del suo circolo.

Kristiansand in the far south of Norway and plays bridge since he was 10 years
old and everyone in his family were fans of the game.
For it was Norwegian Champion Team in 1983.
His son Jan Erik has trodden his father's footsteps and is good bridge player who sometimes plays in tandem with the father who still regularly attends evening tournaments of his circle.
