Charles Bruce Elliott è nato il 18 agosto del 1922 e ha vissuto tutta la sua vita nella zona di Toronto.

 Sposato con Maggie hanno avuto tre figli: Ian, Scott e Craig.

 È stato uno dei migliori giocatori canadesi della metà del secolo scorso e ha vinto 2 Reisinger (1948 e 1951 ) e 2 Spingold (1964 e 1965) nel circuito nord americano giocando prevalentemente con l'altra stella del tempo Shorty Sheardown.

 Sul piano internazionale ha rappresentato due volte il suo Paese alle Olimpiadi vincendo il bronzo nel 1968.

 Ha fatto parte del nucleo iniziale dei giocatori eletti nella Hall of Fame canadese nel 2010.

É scomparso il 3 ottobre del 2019.

 C. Bruce Elliott has won four major North American titles and came very close to winning a fifth.

Elliott won the 1948 and 1951 Chicago Trophy (which is now the Reisinger) and the 1964 and 1965 Spingold. He came second in the Life Master Pairs in 1964 in the Summer Nationals held in Toronto. Elliott twice represented Canada in the World Team Olympiad, in Torino, Italy in 1960, coming seventh, and in Deauville, France in 1968, bringing home the bronze medal.

Bruce Elliott was born in 1922 and has lived all his life in the Toronto area. His partnership with Percy Sheardown was one of the best in North America in the 1950s and 60s and most of his major successes, with the exception of the 1948 Chicago, came in partnership with Shorty.

Married to Maggie they had three sons.

He died on October 3, 2019.
