Ginette Jucker è nata nel 1927 ed è stata una forte tennista francese negli anni '50.
Ginette si è sposata prima con G. Bucaille e dopo la morte di lui, con Pierre Antoine Théophile Grandguillot un altro noto tennista franco-egiziano.
Finalista al Roland-Garros e agli Internazionali d'Italia, arrivò ad essere la numero 9 al mondo nel 1954.
Appesa la racchetta al classico chiodo, Ginette si è trasferita a Chene-Bourg un comune del Canton Ginevra in Svizzera dove ha ripreso con il Bridge arrivando ad essere una delle migliori giocatrici elvetiche che ha fatto parte della nazionale svizzera e che è anche stata nominata "Regina del Bridge Svizzero" nel 1982.
Ginette, che ha avuto una figlia Sylvie prematuramente scomparsa, ci ha lasciato recentemente.
