Georgia  HETH

 

 Georgia K. Heth nacque il 22 dicembre del 1956 a Morton nell'Illinois dove completò i suoi studi in legge alla Millikin University e fu una consulente presso i Servizi Sociali del suo Stato fino al 2017.

 Giocatrice di medio livello si distinse soprattutto nell'amministrazione del bridge passando oltre 10 anni nella WBF dove fece parte del Consiglio Esecutivo, ricoprendo con distinzione vari altri ruoli importanti fino ad essere eletta nel Comitato d'Onore nel 2016.

 Fu Presidente del Consiglio ACBL per due mandati consecutivi.

 Scomparve  il 26 dicembre del 2023 nel St. Francis Medical Center di Peoria dove era ricoverata.

  Georgia K. Heth was born on December 22, 1956 in Morton, Illinois where she completed her law studies at Millikin University and was a consultant with her state's Social Services until 2017.

She was a medium level player and distinguished herself above all in the administration of bridge, spending over 10 years in the WBF where she was part of the Executive Council, covering various other important roles with distinction until being elected to the Honorary Committee in 2016.

In 2020, she was elected president of the ACBL Board and was the first president to serve two consecutive terms.

She passed away on December 26, 2023 in the St. Francis Medical Center in Peoria where she was hospitalized.
