Bjarne Johnsen è nato il 7 luglio del 1897 a Bergen ed è stato un noto calciatore e imprenditore norvegese, nonché abile bridgista negli anni '30 dello scorso secolo.
Una volta completati gli studi superiori si recò negli Stati Uniti e creò una società importatrice di frutta secca dalla California che ebbe discreto successo.
Ha giocato come centravanti nella squadra norvegese SK Brann e ne è stato per diversi anni consecutivi il capocannoniere arrivando anche a vincere il titolo nazionale nel 1925.
Ha anche giocato alcune partite per la nazionale norvegese nelle quali ha segnato tre reti.
Bjarne è anche stato un bridgista della nazionale arrivando a vincere il bronzo ai Campionati Europei a Squadre del 1933.
Scomparve il 23 gennaio del 1982.
Bjarne Johnsen was
born on 7 July 1897 in Bergen and was a well-known entrepreneur and Norwegian
soccer player, and a skilled bridge player in the 30s of last century.
Once you have completed higher studies he went to the United States and created a company importing dried fruit from California who had moderate success.
He played as a striker in the Norwegian team SK Brann and he was the leading scorer for several consecutive years reaching even to conquer the national title in 1925.
He also played a few games for the national team of Norway in which he scored three goals.
Bjarne was also a bridge player of the national team coming to win the bronze medal at the European Championships for Teams 1933.
He disappeared on January 23, 1982.
