Kostandin Kapo è nato a Tirana il 27 settembre del 1957 dove vive, anche se per buona parte dell'anno vive anche a Milano.
Oggi è il miglior giocatore albanese, nonché Presidente della neonata Federazione Albanese (2003) che conta circa 250 iscritti. Durante la dominazione comunista il Bridge era vietato e Kostadin come altri, rischiavano il carcere praticandolo di nascosto. Questo spiega la tardiva nasce della federazione ed i pochi iscritti.
Kostandin ha studiato presso la Pietro Nini Laurasi School e si è laureato due volte in Ingegneria ed in Economica al Politecnico della sua città ed oggi fa il Consulente Finanziario.
Il padre è stato il fondatore del Comitato Olimpico Nazionale Albanese.
È divorziato dall'italiana Emma Andrea con la quale ha avuto una figlia di nome Sara, nata nel 1993 che fa parte della nazionale juniores.
Più volte campione albanese, ha fondato tre bridge club e l'unica scuola albanese oggi in attività. È anche capitano e giocatore della nazionale albanese che annovera come sua miglior performance l'aver battuto una volta il nostro Blue Team durante le Olimpiadi di Pechino del 2008.
Infine, Kostandin fa anche parte del Comitato Esecutivo della EBL.
Kostandin Kapo was Born in Tirana on 27th September 1957, Mr. Kapo is currently living in Tirana and resident in Milan too.
He is married to Emma Andrea (separate) with one grown-up child. He graduated in Engineering and Economics, and is nowadays practicing International Financial Consultant.
He was born in a family with a high sportive background. His father was the founder of the National Albanian Olympic Committee and president of several National Sports Federations.
Kostandin loves volleyball, athletics, alpinism and chess in the highest category.
Mr. Kapo plays bridge at an international level. During the communist regime he played bridge underground taking the risk of prison ( bridge was prohibited by law during communism).
He was the initiator and founder of the Albanian Bridge Federation being its President from the foundation in 2003 to date. He was also the founder of the three first bridge clubs and of the first bridge school in Albania.
Winner of several Albanian title is now the only teacher of his nation and the captain of the Albanian National, a team who counts as his best performance to have beaten once our Blue Team in the World Mind Sports Game 2008.
Finally, Kostandin also serves on the Executive Committee of the EBL.
