Robin è un'altra delle terribili texane che sotto la guida di Bob Hamman hanno trionfato nell'ultima Olimpiade di Maastricht.
Vive a Spring, una cittadina a nord di Houston ed ha un figlio pianista che vive a New York ed una figlia che studia ad Austin.
A soli 18 anni vinse il suo primo titolo nazionale giocando in coppia con Tina Rockaway, poi sette anni più tardi abbandonava il bridge per prendersi cura della sua famiglia.
Da poco tempo è tornata sulle scene bridgistiche ottenendo subito lusinghieri successi quali la medaglia di bronzo ai Mondiali di Parigi e quella d'argento allo IOC Grand Prix del 2000.
