Nata nel 1949 a Nîmes, Nicole Planet con suo marito Régis, forma una delle migliori coppie miste francesi.
Nicole ha preso una licenza liceale in filosofia ed ha conosciuto il bridge poco prima dei trent'anni perché nessuno della sua famiglia conosceva o praticava il Bridge e perché dedicava il suo tempo libero allo sport, prediligendo tennis e maratona.
Sposatasi con Régis a 38 anni, vive a Vaucresson un paese 20 km a Ovest di Parigi, non ha avuto figli e pian piano ha dedicato tutto il suo tempo al Bridge professionistico arrivando a vincere in coppia con il marito: un Campionato Europeo a Squadre Miste nel 1990 ed un bronzo nel Campionato del MEC nella stessa specialità nel 1996.
Nonostante ciò, le migliori capacità di Nicole si estrinsecano nei Tornei a Coppie, una specialità che ama particolarmente.

Nicole took a baccalaureate in philosophy and has known the bridge just before the Thirty Years' because none of her family knew or practiced the Bridge and why he dedicated his free time to the sport, preferring tennis and marathon.
