Ivar Lichtenstein è nato il 31 dicembre del 2004 a Stoccolma dove tuttora vive.
Ha iniziato a giocare verso i 14 invogliato da un amico con cui poi è divenuto campione del mondo U26!
Attore fisso delle nazionali svedesi giovanili insegna presso la scuola bridge della capitale.
Ha un fratello minore Olof (7 maggio 2002) anche lui bridgista.
Nel 2022 ha vinto il Campionato Mondiale Under 21 e nel 2025 ha bissato l'oro nel Campionato Mondiale U26.

Lichtenstein was born on December 31, 2004,
in Stockholm, where he still lives.
He started playing at around 14, encouraged by a friend, with whom he later became the U26 World Champion!
A regular on the Swedish youth national team, he teaches at the bridge school in the capital.
He has a younger brother, Olof (born May 7, 2002), who also plays bridge.
In 2022, he won the U21 World Championship and in 2025, he repeated his gold medal at the U26 World Championship.
