Stephan Magnusson è nato il 29 aprile 1968 a Lutry una cittadina sul lago Lemano non lontana da Losanna e ora vive a Greve Strand una città a metà strada tra la capitale danese e la città di Køge dove lavora presso la Kiso AS un'industria che produce infissi.
Ha studiato prima presso il ginnasio Chamblandes e poi presso il Politecnico di Losanna.
Ha fatto parte più volte della nazionale elvetica ed ha colto il suo miglior risultato internazionale con il quinto posto conquistato ai Mondiali di Lione nel 2017 nel Transnazionale a Squadre Open con una formazione elvetico-magiara.
Nel 1994 ha anche capitanato la squadra giovanile elvetica ai campionati europei.
Stephan Magnusson was born on
April 29, 1968 in Lutry a small town on Lake Geneva not far from Lausanne and
now lives in Greve Strand a city halfway between the Danish capital and the city
of Køge where he works at Kiso AS a manufacturing industry fixtures.
He first studied at the Chamblandes gymnasium and at the Politecnico di Lausanne.
He has been part of the Swiss national team several times and has achieved his best international result with fifth place in the 2017 World Transnationals Open Teams Championships with a Switzerland-Hungary squad.
In 1994 he also headed the Swiss youth team to the European championships.
