Charles Thomas MCMillen è nato il 26 maggio del 1952 ad Elmira una cittadina dello stato di New York poco lontana dal confine con la Pennsylvania ed è stato un cestista ed un uomo politico americano membro della Camera per lo stato del Maryland.

 Ha frequentato le scuole superiori a Mansfield in Pennsylvania e l'università nel Maryland.

 Tra gli anni '70 ed '80 è stato un forte cestista che ha giocato per diverse squadre americane e per un anno anche nella Virtus Bologna. Tom era così forte che viveva ad Oxford e veniva in Italia solo nel week end per giocare alla grande la partita del campionato italiano senza mai essersi allenato con i compagni di squadra!

 Nel suo palmares figura anche una medaglia d'argento olimpica conquistata a Monaco nel 1972.

 Sposato con Judith Niemyer un medico di pronto soccorso, è un amatore del bridge che pratica nel suo tempo libero.

Charles Thomas McMillen was born on May 26, 1952 in Elmira, a small town in the state of New York not far from the Pennsylvania border, and was a basketball player and an American politician who was a member of the Maryland State Chamber.

He attended high school in Mansfield, Pennsylvania and the University in Maryland.

Between the '70s and' 80s he was a strong basketball player who played for several American teams and for a year also in Virtus Bologna. Tom was so strong that he lived in Oxford and came to Italy only on weekends to play the Italian league match without ever having trained with his teammates!

In his palmares there is also an Olympic silver medal won in Monaco in 1972.

Married to Judith Niemyer a first aid physician, he is a bridge lover who practices in his spare time.
