Nata a Brooklyn il 7 gennaio del 1939 Janet Huebner ha studiato alla Cornell University e si è laureata alla Stanford University.
Sposatasi con Charles Nathan si stabilì a Palo Alto e gli diede 4 figli prima del divorzio avvenuto a metà degli anni '60.
Jan si trasferì a Hermosa Beach dove si risposò con Eugene Baldocchi con cui adottò due figli.
Divorziata anche da questo secondo marito, sposò Stephen Mager nel 2000 con cui rimase fino alla morte avvenuta il 17 giugno del 2007 a causa di un cancro.
Jan fu un editrice indipendente che associò in una società da lei creati molti piccoli editori indipendenti degli Stati Uniti. Nell'ultima parte della sua carriera si occupò della gestione delle Associazioni di Categorie Professionali.
Nonostante le molteplici attività che l'hanno
impegnata, Janet fu un'appassionata bridgista che organizzò i
Summer NABC del 2003 e che fu l'editrice della rivista
Southern California Bridge News.
Gold Life Master dell'ACBL accumulò oltre 4000
master points e ricopri anche alcune cariche
amministrative in Federazione.
Who married Charles Nathan settled in Palo Alto and gave
him four children before the divorce took place in the
mid-60s.
Jan moved to Hermosa Beach where she married Eugene Baldocchi with whom he adopted two children.
Also from this second husband divorced, she married
Stephen Mager in 2000 with which he remained until his
death on June 17, 2007 because of a cancer.
Jan was an independent publisher who joined in a
own company many small independent publishers of United States.
In the latter part of her career she
worked on the Associations of Professional Categories
management.
Despite the many activities that have committed, Janet
was a passionate bridge player who organized the Summer NABC in 2003 and was the editor of the magazine
called Southern
California Bridge News.
ACBL Gold Life Master she
accumulated more than 4000 master points, and sprinkle
also some administrative posts in the Federation.
