Arne Olsen è stato un giocatore norvegese di spicco che nacque nel 1939 ad Halden, una citta circa 110 Km a sud di Oslo. Lì iniziò giocare in coppia con il suo omonimo Per Olsen.
Nei primi anni '60 si spostò nella capitale dove il suo bridge si impose nei Campionati nazionali e fu coptato nella nazionale Norvegese.
Divenuto proprietario di un club di successo vi operò come insegnante oltre che come direttore.
Sposato con Randi ha avuto una figlia Ann-Katrin che lo accompagnava in una vacanza a Creta dove è venuto improvvisamente a mancare a causa di un malore nel 2012.
Arne Olsen was a leading Norwegian player who was born in
1939 in Halden, a town about 110km to south of the capital. There he
became to play paired to his homonym Per Olsen.
In the early 60s he moved to the capital where his bridge was imposed in the national championships and was called in the Norwegian national team.
Became the owner of a successful club, he worked as a teacher as well as director.
Married to Randi had a daughter Ann-Katrin who accompanied him on a holiday in Crete where he unexpectedly passed away due to an illness in 2012.
