Kari-Anne Opsal è nata il 10 maggio del 1967 a Gryllefjord una cittadina all'ingresso dell'omonimo fiordo circa 150 km ad Est di Tromso.
Laureata in giurisprudenza ed è un'esponente politico della sua contea e ha degli incarichi sia presso il Comune che presso l'università di Harstad.
Gioca a bridge dal 1994 con risultati lusinghieri e nel 2016 è stata eletta presidente della Federazione Norvegese.
Dal 2018 fa parte dei Comitati Esecutivi EBL e WBF.
Kari-Anne Opsal was born on 10 May 1967 in Gryllefjord, a
town at the entrance to the fjord of the same name, about 150 km east of Tromso.
Graduated in law she is a political exponent of her county and has positions both at the Municipality and at the University of Harstad.
She plays bridge since 1994 with flattering results and in 2016 she was elected president of the Norwegian Federation.
Since 2018 she has been part of the EBL and WBF Executive Committees.
