 Cresciuto a Akersberga, si trasferì negli USA per frequentare il Palm Beach Junior College grazie ad una borsa di studio ottenuta con il golf.

 "Spaceman" come lo chiamavano amici e tifosi, è stato un campione eclettico che si è interessato di molte cose e che ha anche recitato in alcuni show televisivi svedesi.

 Sposato con Mia, hanno avuto 4 figli, tra cui Peg che ha intrapreso una carriere come cantante pop.

 Tra i suoi molti interessi non manca il bridge che Jesper pratica come amatore.
