Laura, who has a multifaceted genius, after attending the high school Carducci, took a short degree in philosophy at the University of Milan and, in the same city, she has took a Master degree in Flute at the Conservatory Verdi and a Diploma in Language and Arab culture at the Italian Institute for Africa and the Far East.
In 2008 she moved to Scotland to improve her knowledge of English and earned a Master of Letter in Philosophy at the University St. Andrews where she has worked as a tutor.
in 2012, while awaiting completion of her PhD, she moved to London to work in the Acol Bridge Club of Andrew Macintosh.
In 2019 she married the bridge player Adrian Orlowski.
Laura, who also teaches the Flute over the Bridge, has successfully participated in several international championships and tournaments, winning in 2012 in tandem with Stelio di Bello the Mixed Pairs tournament organized by LMBA at the Lederer Memorial Trophy, one of the highlights of the bridge circuit of UK.
