 Kay  PREDDY

 

 Kay Preddy è nata nel 1959 nel Somerset ed è una delle quattro figlie femmine della campionessa Jane Preddy.

 Sposata con Norman Selway, anche lui bridgista britannico di fama, vivono nel Kent con i loro due figli James Selway e Louise Selway che, mantenendo la tradizione familiare, è un'ottima bridgista di livello nazionale.

 Norman Selway ha imparato il bridge all'età di 14 anni ed ha vinto tra l'altro: 3 Camrose, 5 Telscher, una Crockford, una Hubert e 3 Tollemache.

 Kay, che ha forgiato la sua carriera in campo finanziario e si è pensionata nel 2020, ha iniziato a giocare ai tempi dell'università ed ha fatto parte sia della nazionale britannica, che di quella inglese.

Kay Preddy was born in 1959 in Somerset and is one of four daughters of champion Jane Preddy.

Married to Norman Selway, also a renowned British bridge player, they live in Kent with their two children James Selway and Louise Selway who, keeping the family tradition, is an excellent national level bridge player.

Norman Selway learned bridge at the age of 14 and won among others: 3 Camrose, 5 Telscher, a Crockford, a Hubert and 3 Tollemache.

Kay, who forged her career in finance and retired in 2020, started playing in college and has been a member of both the UK and England national teams.
