Nato nel 1926 a Genova è stato il capitano della Nazionale di hockey su prato ed ha partecipato con la maglia azzurra alle Olimpiadi del 1952.
Nel mondo del Bridge "Pucci" è stato uno dei più stimati arbitri degli anni '80 ed ha anche ricoperto il ruolo di Istruttore Federale Arbitri.
Figura di riferimento del bridge ligure si rese indispensabile nella vita federale anche per le sue straordinarie doti organizzative e per la sua impeccabile signorilità.
Scomparve improvvisamente nel 1995.
