Andrea Rauscheid è nata ad Aachen il 10 dicembre del 1963 ed ha iniziato a giocare a bridge nel 1984, vive nella di cittadina di Heidelberg, una ventina di Km a Sud Est di Mannheim e lavora mezza giornata in un laboratorio medico e l'altra mezza insegna di bridge.
Vincitrice della Venice Cup di Pechino nel 1995 e di quella di Parigi nel 2001, medaglia d'argento nel Campionato Europeo a Coppie Femminili del 1995 ad Algarve, due argenti ed un bronzo agli Europei Femminili, un oro allo IOC Grand Prix di Losanna nel 2000, un bronzo alle Olimpiadi, gli hanno valso il titolo di World Women Grand Master .
E' sposata con Sebastian Reim, anche lui valente bridgista.
She works in a medical lab and relates that she has been "trying for years to get some physical fitness (aerobics, inline skating) instead of reading or dicing in her favourite pub.
World Grandmaster since 2001. Her international success started in 1995 as runner-up at both the European Pairs and Teams Championships. In the same year she won Venice Cup in Beijing, China (with Nehmert, Auken, von Arnim, Caesar & Moegel). In China again, she was second at the Marlboro China Cup 1997.
In 2000 she finished third at the Ladies Teams Olympiad at Maastricht, The Netherlands (with Nehmert, Auken, von Arnim, Farwig & Stawowy) and won the Women's IOC Grand Prix. At the European Ladies Teams Championships 2001 she won the Bronze Medal (with Nehmert, Auken, von Arnim, Farwig & Hackett) and with the same team she won the Venice-Cup 2001 at Paris.
