Tommy  RICARDO

 Walter Hill Ricardo, per tutti "Tommy", è nato il 2 giugno del 1884, ingegnere è stato un bridgiste gallese di valore internazionale che visse per un certo periodo in British Columbia.

 Sportivo di razza, giocava a calcio per la Cornovaglia, ad hockey per il Berkshire ed era un forte golfista che rappresentò il Galles.

 Cresciuto sui tavoli di Whist, fu capitano durante la prima guerra e partecipò anche alla seconda tra i veterani.

 Assieme alla moglie Evelyn Morgan fu proprietario del Worthing Bridge Club e fu anche Presidente della Welsh Bridge Association.

  Morì a Worthing il 3 dicembre del 1960.

  Walter Hill Ricardo, for all "Tommy", was born on June 2, 1884, engineer was a Welsh bridge player of international standing who lived for a certain period in British Columbia.

A thoroughbred sportsman, he played football for Cornwall, hockey for Berkshire and was a strong golfer who represented Wales.

Raised on Whist's tables, he was a captain during the first war and also participated in the second among the veterans.

Together with his wife Evelyn Morgan he owned the Worthing Bridge Club and was also President of the Welsh Bridge Association.

He died in Worthing on December 3, 1960.
