Thomas William Selleck è nato a Detroit il 29 gennaio del 1945 ed è un attore e produttore cinematografico, particolarmente famoso per le sue interpretazione dei personaggi di Magnum P.I. e Blue Bloods.

 Diplomatosi alla Grant High School ha guadagnata una borsa di studio per la pallacanestro si è laureato in economia alla Università del Sud California, ma poi ha intrapreso la carriera cinematografica e televisiva.

 Sposatosi con la modella Jacqueline Ray ne adottò il figlio, successivamente si risposò con l'attrice  e ballerina Jillie Mack con cui ha avuto la figlia Hannah Margaret campionessa di ippica.

 Appassionato di hockey su ghiaccio e di baseball, ha anche giocato per diversi anni con diletto a bridge.

Thomas William Selleck was born in Detroit on January 29, 1945 and is an actor and film producer, particularly famous for his interpretation of the characters of Magnum P.I. and Blue Bloods.

Graduating from Grant High School, he earned a basketball scholarship and graduated from the University of Southern California with a degree in economics, but then began his film and television career.

After marrying the model Jacqueline Ray, he adopted his son, later remarried with the actress and dancer Jillie Mack with whom he had his daughter Hannah Margaret, champion of horse racing.

Passionate about ice hockey and baseball, he also played bridge for several years.
