Gleen F. Smith nacque nel 1932 e studiò alla St. Louis University del Missouri dove maturò anche gran parte della sua carriera professionale nella Laclede Gas Company dopo aver effettuato il servizio militare a Camp Chaffee in Arkansans.

 Ritiratosi nel 1992 con il grado di Vice Presidente Senior del comparto Finanza nel 1987 ha contratto la sindrome di Guillain-Baurré che ne ha limitato l'abilità fisica per il resto della vita.

 Sposato con Marjorie ha avuto 4 figli.

 Gleen ha ricoperto varie cariche amministrative in seno all'ACBL di cui è anche stato Presidente ed è anche stato un eccellente insegnante di bridge.

 É scomparso il 7 dicembre del 2013.

  Glenn F. Smith was born in 1932 and he studied at St. Louis University (MO), town where he developed a major part of his professional career in the Laclede Gas Company after his military service at Camp Chaffee in Arkansans.

 He retired in 1992 with the rank of Senior Vice President of the Finance Department after that in 1987 he contracted Guillain-Baurré syndrome that has limited his physical ability for the rest of his life.

Married to Marjorie they had 4 children.

Glenn has held various administrative positions within all'ACBL which he also served as President and was also an excellent teacher of the bridge.

He disappeared on December 7, 2013.
