Kirsten Rita Arnesen è nata a Bergen il 5 maggio del 1933 ed è ingegnere, economista, ricercatrice, nonché, giocatrice e scrittrice di bridge.
Ha studiato presso la Scuola di Ingegneria di Bergen, presso l'Università di Exeter in GB e si è laureata in matematica applicata presso l'Università di Belfast.
Dopo aver lavorato presso la Fiskeridirektoratet, la Unilever e la Havforskninginstituttet, oggi è in pensione e vive a Bergen.
Sposata ha avuto un figlio Jan Richard Finne.
La mamma Inga Arnesen fece parte del primo Consiglio Federale (1934) e fu tra i fondatori della Lega Europea.
Fortemente impegnata nel settore ecologico, la Arnesen è stata il primo procuratore ambientale dell'Istituto di Ricerca Marina per le richieste di autorizzazione allo scarico in mare.
Assieme a diversi altri incarichi, per un biennio (1996/97) è stata la Segretaria del Programma Mare Norvegese e nel 1987 ha ricevuto il premio ambientale Venstre.
Scrittrice di bridge, ha collaborato con la Federazione Norvegese per lo sviluppo del bridge riportando grande successo specie nel settore giovanile e meritando una medaglia al merito nel 2010.
Membro Onorario del Club Accademico di Bergen nel 1987, ha conquistato alcuni piazzamenti nazionali ed ha fatto anche parte della nazionale femminile norvegese.
Dal 2015 è anche Membro Onorario della Federazione Bulgara.
Kirsten Rita Arnesen was born in

After working at the Fiskeridirektoratet, Unilever and the Havforskninginstituttet, she is now retired and lives in Bergen.
Married had a son Jan Richard Finne.
Her mother Inga Arnesen, was part of the first Federal Council (1934) and was one of the founders of the European League.
Strongly engaged in the ecological sector, Arnesen was the first environmental procurator of the Marine Research Institute for the requests for discharge authorization at sea.
Together with several other positions, for a two-year period (1996/97) she was the Secretary of the Norwegian Sea Program and in 1987 she received the Venstre environmental award.
Bridge writer, he has collaborated with the Norwegian Federation for the development of the bridge, showing great success especially in the youth sector awarded the Norwegian Bridge Federation's Merit Medal in 2010.
Honorary Member of the Academic Club of Bergen in 1987, has won some national placing and has also been part of the Norwegian women's national team.
Since 2015 he is also Honorary Member of the Bulgarian Federation.
