Albert  BITRAN

 Nato nel 1945 a Trouville-sur-Mer, una cittadina rivierasca affacciata sulla Manica è stato liceale a Deauville, per poi maturarsi al liceo Louis-Legrand di Parigi.

 Tornato nel suo Calvados si è laureato  a Caen ed è divenuto è un professore di matematica ed ha insegnato nella città di Ouistreham e oggi vive e insegna nella cittadina di Petiville.

 Sposato con due figli,  Albert, ha conosciuto il bridge verso i 25 anni e non lo ha più lasciato.

 Ha fatto più volte parte della nazionale francese, ha vinto alcuni titoli nazionali e sul piano internazionale ha conquistato  il terzo posto conquistato nello Open IOC Grand Prix del 1999, mentre, nel 2023 coglie il suo miglior risultato vincendo ai Transnazionali Europei entrambe le competizioni Seniores: squadre e coppie.

  Born in 1945 in Trouville-sur-Mer, a seaside town overlooking the English Channel, he attended high school in Deauville, before graduating from the Lycée Louis-Legrand in Paris.

After returning to his native Calvados, he graduated from Caen and became a mathematics professor, teaching in the town of Ouistreham. Today, he lives and teaches in the town of Petiville.

Married with two children, Albert discovered bridge in his mid-twenties and has never looked back.

He has been a member of the French national team several times, has won several national titles, and internationally, he achieved third place at the 1999 Open IOC Grand Prix. In 2023, he achieved his best result, winning both the senior team and pairs competitions at the European Transnationals.
