Caterina Burgio è nata a Palermo il 14 giugno del 1989 dove ha frequentato il Liceo Scientifico Cannizzaro e dove si è laureata in giurisprudenza presso l'università di Palermo.
Caterina che parla francese e inglese, ha iniziato a giocare a bridge nel 2008, dopo aver avuto una fugace infarinatura diversi anni prima con il Bridge a Scuola.
Ha fatto parte della Nazionale Giovanile Femminile fin dal 2009 ed ha ottenuto il suo miglior risultato con la medaglia di bronzo ai Campionati Europei di Categoria del 2013 e in quelli Mondiali del 2014.
Sul piano nazionale assieme ad altre vittorie e piazzamenti nel 2024 ha vinto la Coppa Italia Femminile.

Catherine speaks French and English and she started playing bridge in 2008, after having had a brief smattering several years before with the Bridge at School.
She is part of the National Girl since 2009 and has achieved his best result with the bronze medal at the European Girl Championships of 2013 and at World Girl Championships of 2014.
On the national level, along with other victories and placings, in 2024 she won the Women's Italian Cup.
