Sunit Chokshi was born on July 18, 1971 in Ahmedabad, an inner city of Gujarat where he still lives.

 He studied at St. Xavier Loyola Hall and at H L College o Commerce and is chairman of Armaan Developers Pvt. Ltd.

World International Master,  World International Master, is the best Indian player of the time and has been part of the Indian national team many times.

He has achieved his best international achievements with the bronze won in 2016 open pairs during the World Bridge Games and with the win in the 2008 Wernher.
