Alexander Dubinin was born in 1975 in the former Soviet Union and lives in Moscow where he worked in the same company of his partner bridge player Andrei Gromov.
Bachelor, he has caught a number of success in couples with Mihail Krasnosselski and Max Khven, following since 2004 he plays with Andrei.
Alexander took his best success in the international arena with the bronze won at the Olympiads in Istanbul, but also finished second at the European Mixed Teams (2007), at the Open Team (2008) and at the Transnational Mixed in Beijing (2008).
On the circuit of U.S. won the Vanderbilt Cup (2001), the Mitchell (2009, 2010 and 2014) and the Spingold Cup (2008); on the East circuit he won NEC CUP of 2013 and 2014 after came second in 2005 and 2007. In 2016 he won the silver medal in the Mixed Teams Olympiads.
World International Master, Alexander won the 2019 Wuhan Cup.
