Mikhail Krasnoselskiy è nato il 28 gennaio del 1977 a Mosca dove ha frequentato la scuola musicale Maimonide e dove vive con la moglie Anna che ha sposato nel 2014.
World International Master, oltre ad alcuni titoli nazionali ha fatto parte varie volte delle nazionali del suo Paese arrivando a vincere il bronzo nel World Transnationals Open del 2011.
Sul piano internazionale ha vinto due volte la NEC Cup nel 2013 e 2104 e nel 2019 ha vinto l'oro nello Squadre Miste e l'argento nel Coppie Miste agli Europei Open.
