Nabil Edgtton è nato l'8 maggio del 1992 a Sydney dove vive ed ha studiato alla Caringbah High School ed ha frequentato l'università di Wollongong, che è una città circa 80Km a Sud di Sydney.
Gioca a bridge da quando aveva 7 anni e, dopo alcune apparizioni nella nazionali minori australiane, forse il più giovane giocatore presente a Veldhoven, ha incredibilmente conquistato la seconda posizione nel Transnational Open Teams del 2011 replicata nel 2022 nel Transnazionale Mondiale a Coppie Open.
Oggi è un World International Master.
Nabil, che attualmente divide il suo tempo tra lo studio, il poker ed il bridge, è stato il più giovane vincitore di una medaglia d'argento mondiale.
Suo fratello Adam Edgtton di un anno più grande, è anche lui un ottimo giocatore che indirizzato al bridge fin da ragazzo dal padre, ha fatto più volte parte delle rappresentative giovanili australiane ma si è poi allontanato dal bridge agonistico.

He's been playing bridge since he was 7 and after a few appearances in the Australian youth national, perhaps youngest player in Veldhoven, he has incredibly earns second place in the Transnational Open Teams in 2011, replicated in 2022 in the World Transnational Open Pair.
Nabil currently divides his time between studying and playing Poker and Bridge and he is the youngest winner of a world open silver medal.
His brother Adam Edgtton, a year older, is also an excellent player who was sent to bridge since he was a boy by his father, he has repeatedly been part of the Australian youth teams but then moved away from competitive bridge.
