Winner of many national titles, she won 4 European Championships (1939, 1950, 1951, 1952) and represented a reference figure at the exclusive Wessex Club in Bournemouth.
In 1953, during a stay in the USA, he also failed to win some titles in that country.
She married Ralph Evans a strong player who contributed little to his bridging growth.
She disappeared in Bournemouth in September 1977.
