Victoria Gromova was born a Minsk and she is perhaps the strongest Russian player of the moment, she lives in Moscow with her husband, Andrey, and with two children. She works as a business executive in a company's capital Moscow TLC.
Her palmares includes a bronze medal in the European Mixed Teams Championship at Bellaria (2000), a silver medal in the same competition in Antalya (2007) and in Transnational Olympic 2008, a bronze medal in Mixed Pairs at the Open European Championships of 2015, all played in tandem with her husband Andrey.
In the women's field she won the Olympiad of Istanbul (2004) and the Mc Connell Cup in 2006 in Verona followed by a bronze in 2010, besides the silver in the Mixed Teams Olympiads of 2016.
In 2018 she won the bronze medal in McConnell.
Victoria, which is a Women Grand Master is among the first 30 of the WBF and in her country is first in the female rank and among the head position in the open rank.
Victoria loves to play also mah-jong in the little free time.
