Dan  JACOB

 

 Dan Jacob è nato  a Bucarest in Romania dove si è laureato presso il locale Politecnico per poi trasferirsi prima a Parigi ed infine a Vancouver dove vive con la moglie Cristina, anche lei ingegnere e, naturalmente, anche lei bridgista.

 La coppia ha avuto due figli Carol e Julien.

 Jacob che ama molto tutti gli sport, ha iniziato a giocare durante il primo anno universitario in Romania e non ha smesso mai più.

 Ha gestito per lunghi anni un programma federale prima di andare in pensione.

 Vincitore di diversi titoli canadesi e nord americani ha fatto parte più volte della nazionale canadese ed è stato eletto nella Hall of Fame del bridge canadese.

Senior International Master, ha vinto il bronzo nel World Senior Team nel 2014, il Silodor del 2008.

Dan Jacob was born in Bucharest, Romania where he graduated from the local Polytechnic and then moved first to Paris and finally to Vancouver where he lives with his wife Cristina, also an engineer and, naturally, also a bridge player.

The couple had two children Carol and Julien.

Jacob, who loves all sports very much, started playing during his first university year in Romania and never stopped.

He managed a federal program for many years before retiring.

Winner of several Canadian and North American titles, he was part of the Canadian national team several times and was elected to the Canadian bridge Hall of Fame.

Senior International Master, he won bronze in the World Senior Team in 2014, the Silodor in 2008.
