Joan vive a Dallas dove è impegnata nella direzione di un agenzia finanziaria ed è una nonna felice, fiera dei suoi tre nipotini che vivono con le sue due figlie a Denver e a Seattle.
Da poco sulla scena del grande bridge internazionale ha trovato grande giovamento dalla partnership con Robin Klar con la quale ha recentemente vinto le due maggiori competizioni del Nord America e le Olimpiadi femminili del 2000 a Maastricht che hanno rappresentato il suo primo grande traguardo internazionale.
Joan è anche arrivata 3ª nell'ultima Venice Cup vinta dalla squadra tedesca a Parigi e tra i molti titoli nazionali che ha vinto ricordiamo l'Open Pair ai Summer NABC's del 2007 assieme a Petra Hamman.
Joan lives in Dallas where he is engaged in the direction of
a financial agency and is a happy grandmother, proud of her three grandchildren
who live with her two daughters in Denver and Seattle.
Recently on the scene of the great international bridge, she has found great benefit by partnering with Robin Klar with whom he has recently won two major competitions in North America and the Women Olympiads in 2000 in Maastricht who represented his first major international achievement.
Joan also arrived 3rd in the Venice Cup won by the German team in Paris and among the many national titles, the last has been the NABC's Open Pair at the Summer of 2007 along with Petra Hamman.
