Eric  JANNERSTEN

 Eric Jannersten nacque nel 1912 a Stoccolma dove si spense all'età di settanta anni dopo essere stato per oltre 30 anni Mr. Bridge del suo Paese.

 Editore e giornalista è stato uno dei fondatori dell'International Bridge Press Association della quale ricoprì la carica di segretario fino al 1975.

 Fondò la rivista Bridgetidningen che viene stampata anche oggi e che, nonostante sia redatta in lingua svedese, ha avuto e conserva tuttora una larga diffusione, maturando ampi riconoscimenti internazionali.

 Come giocatore ha fatto più volte parte della nazionale del suo Paese ed è anche famoso per aver partecipato all'edizione degli Europei del 1956, giocando in coppia con il fratello Per che, all'epoca aveva solo 8 anni!

 Come editore ha pubblicato oltre 40 libri di bridge, molti stampati dal fratello Per che dopo aver partecipato con lui a molti Campionati Europei e Mondiali dal 1956 al 1970, si dedicò completamente all'attività imprenditoriale della tipografia di famiglia.

 Scomparso nel 1982 è anche ricordato per aver lanciato le bidding boxes che sono ancor oggi in uso in ogni dove, acquistandone il brevetto da Nordensson.

  Jannersten Eric was born in 1912 in Stockholm where he died at the age of seventy years after it was over 30 years Mr. Bridge for his country.

Bridgetidningen founded the magazine that is printed today and that, despite being written in Swedish, has been and still remains a widespread, gaining wide international recognition.

As a player has done several times in the national team of his country and is also famous for having participated in the 1956 edition of the Europeans, playing with his brother for that at the time was only 8 years!

As editor he has published over 40 books on bridge, many printed by his brother.

After having participated in many European and World Championships from 1956 to 1970, he devoted himself completely to the family business of printing.

He is also remembered for having launched the bidding boxes that are still in use everywhere, bought the patent from Nordensson.
