Georgi Karakolev è nato il 27 novembre del 1970 a Sofia ed ha studiato nella capitale bulgara presso la scuola superiore Wilhelm Pieck, prima di laurearsi in economia presso l'UNWE.
Oggi lavora presso la Comtech e nel mondo del bridge è un World International Master che ha vinto il bronzo alla Bermuda Bowl nel 2009 e nel 2017, ai World Bridge Games del 2016 nello squadre miste e agli Elite Mind Games nel 2017.
Georgi Karakolev was born on November 27, 1970 in Sofia and studied in the Bulgarian capital at high school Wilhelm Pieck before graduating in economics at UNWE.
Today he works at Comtech and in the world of the bridge is a World International Master who won bronze at the 2009 and 2017 Bermuda Bowl and at the 2016 World Bridge Games in mixed teams and at 2017 Elite Mind Games.
