Michal  KLUKOWSKI

Michal Klukowski è nato a Breslavia il 25 maggio del 1996, è il più giovane giocatore di ogni tempo ad aver vinto la Bermuda Bowl e la Rosenblum Cup ed il più grande giovane talento del suo Paese.

 Michal, che oggi vive a Malopolskie nel sud del Paese ha studiato presso la XIV High School di Breslavia e studia Economia presso l'Università di Cracovia ed è sposato con la campionessa Justina Zmuda che gli ha dato la figlioletta Hanna.

 Questo giovane bridgista straordinariamente precoce ha iniziato a giocare a 9 anni spronato dai genitori, entrambi bridgisti.

 Nel 2010, all'età di 12 anni guadagnava la sua prima medaglia internazionale vincendo un bronzo nei Campionati per Coppie Under 21 Europei.

 Nel 2012 arriva il primo oro nei Campionati Mondiali per Squadre Under 20 seguito dall'argento del 2013 nella stessa competizione a livello Europeo e dal bronzo nel 2014 nei Campionati Mondiali per Squadre Under 26.

 La prima medaglia tra i grandi arriva nel 2013 con il bronzo conquistato nella Champions Cup  seguito dall'oro nella Rosenblum Cup del 2014 dove conquista anche lo scettro di più giovane vincitore.

 Pluri titolato a livello nazionale, World Grand Master, nel 2015 dopo la vittoria nel Transnazionale Europeo BAM, arriva quella  spettacolare ed inaspettata nella Bermuda seguita nel 2016 da quella nello Squadre Open alla prima edizione degli IMSA Elite Mind Games nella quale ha anche vinto l'argento nell'Individuale Open. Nello stesso anno ha vinto l'oro ai Campionati Mondiali Giovanili ed il bronzo alle Olimpiadi.

Michal è il più giovane vincitore di un Campionato del Mondo di tutti i tempi!

Nel 2017, oltre alla vittoria del Transnazionale Mondiale, ha guadagnato assieme alla sua compagna di vita l'oro nel Coppie Miste ed il bronzo nello Squadre Miste agli Europei Open.

Nel 2018 ha vinto la Spingold e la Rosenblum, nel 2020 ha vinto la Zimmermann Cup e ha preso la cittadinanza svizzera per il cui team nazionale ha vinto la Bermuda Bowl del 2022, il Coppie Miste ai World Bridge Series e la Reisinger ai NABC.

Gli ultimo ori li ha conquistati sotto i colori svizzeri nel 2023 nei Mixed BAM agli Europei Transnazionali e nella Bermuda Bowl e nel 2024 negli Europei Invernali Transnazionali.

Michal Klukowski was born in Wroclaw on May 25, 1996, he is the youngest player of all time to have won the Bermuda Bowl and the Rosenblum Cup and the greatest young talent in his country.

Michal, who now lives in Malopolskie in the south of the country, studied at the XIV High School in Wroclaw and studies Economics at the University of Krakow and is married to champion Justina Zmuda who gave him her little daughter Hanna.

This extraordinarily precocious young bridge player started playing at the age of 9 spurred on by his parents, both bridge players.

In 2010, at the age of 12 he earned his first international medal by winning a bronze in the European Under 21 Couples Championships.

In 2012 comes the first gold in the World Championships for Under 20 Teams followed by the silver in 2013 in the same competition at European level and by the bronze in 2014 in the World Championships for Under 26 Teams.

The first medal among the greats arrives in 2013 with the bronze won in the Champions Cup followed by gold in the 2014 Rosenblum Cup where he also wins the scepter of the youngest winner.

Pluri titled at national level, World Grand Master, in 2015 after the victory in the European Transnational BAM, comes the spectacular and unexpected one in Bermuda followed in 2016 by the one in the Open Teams at the first edition of the IMSA Elite Mind Games in which he also won the silver in the Individual Open. In the same year he won gold at the World Youth Championships and bronze at the Olympics.

Michal is the youngest World Championship winner of all time!

In 2017, in addition to the victory of the World Transnational, together with his life partner he earned gold in the Mixed Pairs and bronze in the Mixed Teams at the Open European Championships.

In 2018 he won the Spingold and Rosenblum, in 2020 he won the Zimmermann Cup and took Swiss citizenship for whose national team he won the 2022 Bermuda Bowl, the Mixed Pairs at World Bridge Series and the Reisinger at NABC.

Last gold medals he won under the Swiss color in 2023 in the Mixed BAM at the European Transnational Teams and in Bermuda Bowl and in 2024 in the European Winter Transnational.
